Dorset Arts and Crafts Association Exhibition at The Purbeck School, Worgret Road, Wareham BH20 4BF.
Steve will be setting up the display of patchwork and quilting and will have a stall selling paints, dyes, Markal Paintstiks and patchwork and quilting supplies.

Exhibition dates for 202 are 4th to 8th August.  These are currently provisional dates and subject to any regulation changes.

Weekly classes at the Studio, Granby Industrial Estate, Weymouth DT4 9TJ are now up and running again.  I am taking groups to a maximum of 6 to ensure sufficient space for distancing.  I have put in place Covid Safety measures.  If you are interested in joining a group please contact me on

Festival of Quilts

I attended the 2021 Festival of Quilts at the NEC.  I felt very safe with the Covid measures that had been put in place by Both NEC and Event organisers 'Immediate Media'.  

I worked as both a judge and a quilt judging course tutor at the show but did have time to explore to enjoy the delights of both the quilts and traders.  It was great to meet up face-to-face again with fellow quilters.

Talks and Workshops

I was recently invited to give a talk to a local quilt groups on the topic of quilt judging, giving an overview of what judging entails and how judges undertake this task at shows.  Their response was that it was a very arduous task and understood more fully why what they saw as a show winner was different to that of the judges.
