Weekly Classes:

All classes are mixed ability with students working on own projects and tutor support.  I have several sampler projects for students to undertake if they are beginners and need to learn the basics of patchwork and quilting.

Design for Patchwork and Quilting:

These sessions are designed to enable the maker to the develop skills required to create their own unique quilts.

We cover the principles and elements of design, various methods of colouring fabrics to create your own fabrics and work through the processes of developing a design from the initial concept to finished quilt.

SouthWest Quilters Workshop
 

Do you have a collection of scraps from your quilt making?  No need to throw them away.  Make crumb blocks.

I will show you how to make use of your scraps - large or small - to create interesting blocks and you do not need lots of equipment to do it.  I will show you how to put them together to create a 'fun' quilt.  Ideal as a Luinus project.

When: Saturday March 11th  10am to 4pm.

Where: Steve's Studio, Granby Estate, Weymouth.

Cost:  £25 SWQ members,  £30 non-members.
